Book-Attic developer Makenzie has been working her little tooshie off creating two summer reading programs. The goal of Summer Reading Challenge 2012 is to encourage children to read over the summer. The incentive, you ask? A $25 Amazon gift card will be rewarded to the top readers from each category. Check it out at

Book-Attic's summer reading club is a bit different and MUCH MORE laid back. Simply chose a book cover from the right of the page, read the book and talk about it. A few of the books will have a Google Doc link where readers can help create a book review to post on Book-Attic at the end of the summer.
