She went to college in Boston, Massachusetts where her friends dragged her to New York City. She now lives in  Port Washington, Long Island with her family. She carpools for her two kids.

Starring Jules (As Herself), was a great book, great for kids ages 6 to 9. I would recommend this book to just about anyone.  This book is the first in the Starring Jules series look out for Starring Jules #2: Starring Jules (In Drama-Rama) coming September 1st, 2013.

Freaks

Crime fighters by day, freak show by night. When the mudlark's (poor people) children go missing can Sheba the Wolf girl, Monkeyboy and Sister moon the cat-eyed ninja team up to find them?
After a week of sneaking around, fighting physco maniacs and almost getting killed (a lot) will they find and save the kids? You'll have to find out for yourselves by reading the book.

Freaks by Kieran Larwood takes place in Victorian London.  Victorian London was stinky, very stinky. Most people didn't have toilets and all the sewage went into the Thames. Also it was dangerous too, children ran through taking stuff out of your pockets and people would slit your throat if you made them mad. London features high class places such as The Great Exhibition as well as rundown  penny gaff theaters where many people went to get a cheap show and maybe some food.

Keiran Larwood, author of Freaks, was born in Kenya, Africa but only lived there a short while before moving to the UK. He ended up on The Island of Wight where he now works as a elementary teacher. His dream is to be a full time author. He now lives on The Isle of Wright with his family.

Freaks, by Keiran Larwood, was first published March 1st, 2013 by Scholastic Inc. Freaks was a good book full of adventure and action. I would recommend this book to people who like fantasy, fiction and suspense.

** It was first published April 15th, 2012 in the UK**

Tales from Lovecraft Middle School #1: Professor Gargoyle

This week I received a free copy of Tales from Lovecraft Middle School #1: Professor Gargoyle and #2: The Slither Sisters from Dogobooks.com. Look at these morphing covers. Aren't they awesome!!!

Tales from Lovecraft Middle School #1: Professor Gargoyle, by Charles Gilman, was first published September 25th, 2012 by Quirk Productions, Inc.

Lovecraft Middle School isn't your ordinary middle school. There are rats coming out of lockers, secret attics hidden in the library and students disappearing. Plus the science teacher is acting weird. With the help of two unlikely friends, Robert just might survive sixth grade, but what other surprises await. Read the book to find out.

Robert Arthur and his friends go to Lovecraft Middle School. Lovecraft was made entirely out of recycled materials. Most of the recycled materials came from Tillinghast Mansion, where Tillinghast was rumored to be summoning monsters. Lovecraft is an advanced school with deluxe touch pads on the lockers and e-readers in the library. But is there more to Lovecraft Middle School than you think.

Professor Gargoyle was a great book with lots of mystery and suspense. I would recommend this book to people who like fantasy, mystery and light horror. Professor Gargoyle is the first book in The Tales from Lovecraft Middle School series. Look out for The Tales from Lovecraft Middle School #3: Teachers Pest, coming May 7, 2013.
